Rules for This Workshop
These terms explain the purpose and limitations of the educational material at snapshotshowrankroostr.com.
Educational information, not certification
The site provides general information about homemade smartphone photography supports, attachments and lighting. It does not provide engineering certification, electrical advice, device repair services or an individual safety assessment. Diagrams are conceptual and not to scale unless explicitly stated.
Materials, wear, assembly methods, phone dimensions and working environments vary. No project on this site has a stated certified load capacity. You are responsible for assessing your own materials and circumstances, following product instructions and deciding whether to use suitable rated commercial equipment instead.
Build and use cautiously
- Inspect structures, fasteners and padding before each use. Test with a harmless dummy before placing a phone.
- Use suitable mechanical retention and an independent tether for overhead arrangements. Do not suspend a phone with tape or a charging cable.
- Keep people, pets, food preparation and valuable objects clear of possible fall zones.
- Keep paper, fabric and cardboard away from hot lights, housings, power supplies and ventilation openings. Do not leave a homemade lighting arrangement unattended.
- Stop if a structure moves, a joint weakens or a device becomes unusually warm. Follow device temperature warnings.
- Do not dismantle hazardous electronics for lenses, use damaged optics or aim magnifiers at the sun.
- Use tools only with appropriate skill, protection and supervision. Children require responsible adult supervision for cutting, assembly and lighting activities.
No promised results
Information is provided in good faith, but no guarantee is made that a particular build will fit your phone, remain stable, reproduce exact colours or produce a particular photographic result. Reference photographs show an intended subject or visual approach, not proof of performance by the illustrated rig.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the material is provided without warranties of accuracy, completeness, suitability or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud.
Contact tool limitations
The contact page is a local plain-text preparation tool. It does not send messages, upload attachments or create a support ticket. You must send any email yourself. Clipboard access and file downloads depend on browser permissions and device capabilities. No response time, personalised assessment or resolution is guaranteed.
Do not use this site or its email address for emergencies. We cannot remotely approve the safety of a rig or verify a load-bearing structure.
Content and third-party names
Original site copy, layout and diagrams are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may read and print the guides for personal reference and share links to the published pages. Other uses remain subject to applicable rights, permissions and lawful exceptions. Third-party material remains subject to its own rights and licences.
Product names and organisation names belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation. External links are supplied for context; this site does not control their accuracy, availability or policies.
Responsible use and corrections
Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation or send unlawful, abusive or privacy-invasive material. When suggesting a correction, identify the page and the issue. Contact [email protected] for questions about these terms or permissions.
Content and these terms may change as the workshop develops. Applicable mandatory law remains unaffected; no particular court jurisdiction or registered company status is asserted by this page.
